She also had a job as a backhoe operator. But we got her to quit that one and she took a job in the scientist career instead.

We asked her to be our girlfriend. I didn’t think it would work, but it did. So yay! They’re official!

Also, fun fact London’s mom is also Mabel. So London and Ireland are half sisters AND Aunt/niece.
That’s what happens when your mom is a vampire.
But thank goodness I fixed THAT.
Hoyt gets to work on his aspiration. I thought about getting him a job. But since he’ll be painting, that will make us plenty of money. So he’ll be jobless. For the time being anyway lol

Hoyt needed to visit a museum for his aspiration, so we headed off to do that while London was at work and Harper was at school

I’ve just finished reading through the whole challenge to date, interspersed with starting my own ISBI challenge (with a founder named April Fool, since I created her in the early hours of 1st April)
I really enjoyed reading about the Wilde’s many misadventures, and became very glad that I was playing my own challenge with the benefit of various different packs:
Parenthood – influencing children and teens to do homework, build skills and clean. Parenting skill improving ability to care for babies (and getting my spouse to improve seemed to lead to him doing a better job of caring for the kids autonomously).
Tiny Living – I’ve limited the ‘real’ rooms to 64 tiles of small rooms all leading off a central courtyard which is covered by a glass roof, meaning it’s protected from weather effects whilst not being included in the tile count. That means the family all build skills at double the usual rate.
Discover university – the study spot lot trait also gives a huge skill boost, and I picked a student for a spouse so he started off with some decent skills and improved further during his final 6 credits so is now close to topping one career and could potentially top another if I have the time to get my TH to debate with him to get his research and debate skill to the required level.
Between those bonuses and some strategic locking of doors/gates (to stop anyone other than my TH using the stove, prevent kids getting in the way of baby care actions and sitting on the toddler beds and also to prevent toddlers waking up their siblings) I’ve had very few lost points and quite a lot of positive ones from my first generation so far, with the eldest child having recently aged up to a teen and the youngest (twins) in their final few days of toddlerhood.
The family are fairly low on money though, as my TH is too busy being a hands-on parent to get much money-making done! I’m hoping once all the kids are off at school she’ll be able to contribute more on that front!

Looks like Hoyt Is having a prettygood start on his generation! I love London, sewas definitely my pick for a spouse š I always enjoy polls, so if you feel like doing it again I’ll be Happy!
